Aerial WT230D room air tumble dryer

The new WT230D is the optimized evolution of the WT230U and offers greater dehumidification performance while consuming less energy. It's an efficient and ideal appliance for single-family homes, especially when combined with a tumble dryer.

Operation

The digital control panel on the front panel allows for easy operation and provides current information about the room climate and the selected program on the display. The display languages ​​are available in German, French, Italian, and English.

Drying programs

The drying program starts at the touch of a button and runs until the laundry is completely dry, after which it shuts off automatically. Three drying levels are available: "partially dry," "iron dry," or "cupboard dry," with the moisture levels adjustable as needed.

The WT230D also offers general room monitoring to prevent mold and odors in the basement. The device automatically activates as soon as the humidity rises above 60% RH – this value is also individually adjustable. In room monitoring mode, the device pauses as soon as the humidity drops to the target level and starts automatically when the level rises again.

Fans and blowers

The WT230D uses an economical radial fan that directs the drying air slightly downward, ideal for reaching the lower, often wetter, areas of the laundry. The fan speed is adjustable: the lower speed reduces operating noise, while the higher speed ensures faster drying with a full load and achieves airflows of up to 7 m.

Adjustable air slats

The adjustable slats on the air outlet allow flexible alignment so that the dry air can be optimally distributed over the laundry.

Direct hose connection

The condensed water is drained via a hose on the rear wall, which is particularly useful when the unit has a slight slope or is mounted on a wall. Alternatively, the water can be collected in a bucket placed underneath the unit. Suitable inlet pipes and buckets are available upon request.

air filter

Room air is drawn in at the front of the unit and cleaned by a magnetically attached filter. The filter consists of a fine nylon mesh that captures coarse dust and lint, is easy to clean, and, with proper care, will last the life of the dryer.

Memory function

In room monitoring mode, the WT230D saves the settings so it continues to run in the same mode after a power outage. This is ideal for use with a timer, for example, to operate the dryer during off-peak hours. If the dryer is interrupted during laundry drying mode, the device goes into standby mode and must be restarted.

Room temperature

The WT dryers can be used at temperatures starting at 8°C. For optimal drying results and short run times, a room temperature of 15°C or higher is recommended. The device's performance specifications refer to a room temperature of 20°C.

Made in Europe

The WT dryers are produced in Europe by the Dantherm Group and have received high ratings from the Swiss Testing testing center.

Service-friendly design

For maintenance and cleaning work, the cover of the device can be easily removed without having to remove it from the wall.

Easy wall mounting

The WT230D is easily mounted on the wall: A mounting rail is attached with two screws, onto which the unit is then hung. Mounting hardware and a 2 m drain hose are included. Rubber buffers minimize the transmission of vibrations to the wall. For best performance, condensate should be drained directly into the drain. If required, suitable trolleys are also available for installation without wall mounting.

Optional assembly service

Upon request, the dryer can be professionally installed within a 120 km radius for a flat rate of CHF 280. Prices for longer distances are available upon request.

• Installations for drains or electrical connections must be prepared by a tradesman and are not included in the installation service.
• If the walls are to be insulated internally, this should be specified when ordering, as installation requires additional effort.
