The WT 240D is the ideal solution for anyone who wants to dry their laundry faster. As the most energy-efficient model in Aerial's new WT series, it offers reliable and economical drying performance, perfect for busy laundry rooms.

Operation

The simple, digital control panel on the front of the unit allows for user-friendly operation. The display shows the room status and selected program, with German, French, Italian, and English available as display languages.

Drying programs

The drying program starts at the touch of a button, and the dryer automatically shuts off as soon as the laundry is dry. Three preset drying levels allow you to choose between "partially dry," "iron dry," and "cupboard dry." These moisture levels can be individually adjusted as needed.

The WT 240D also offers a room monitoring function to prevent mold and odors. When humidity levels exceed 60%, the device automatically activates, and this level is also adjustable. Unlike in laundry drying mode, the WT 240D simply pauses and restarts when humidity levels rise again.

In both programs, the current and desired humidity are shown on the display.

Blower and fan speeds

The WT 240D uses an economical radial fan that directs the drying air slightly downward, reaching the lower, often wettest, areas of the laundry. The adjustable fan speeds offer a quiet option for lower airflow or a powerful setting for maximum drying power and faster results. On the powerful setting, the air can reach laundry items up to 8 m away.

Adjustable air slats

The flexible slats on the air outlet can be adjusted horizontally and vertically so that the drying air is distributed precisely over the entire laundry area.

Direct hose connection

Condensation water is drained via a hose connected to the rear panel of the unit, which is particularly useful for low slopes or when wall-mounted. The water can also be collected in a bucket placed underneath the unit if there is no drain. Suitable inlet pipes and buckets are also available.

air filter

The drawn-in room air is cleaned by a fine, magnetically attached filter that captures coarse dust and lint to keep the device clean. The filter is made of a tight-meshed nylon mesh and is easy to clean.

Memory function

In room monitoring mode, the WT 240D saves all settings, allowing the dryer to automatically continue operating in the selected mode after a power outage. This is especially useful if the dryer is to be operated using a timer during off-peak hours. In laundry drying mode, the dryer switches to standby mode if an interruption occurs and must be restarted.

Room temperature

Aerial's WT dryers are suitable for temperatures starting at 8°C. However, please note that colder rooms will increase drying times. For optimal results, a room temperature of 15°C or higher is recommended. Drying performance was measured at 20°C.

The WT series is produced by the Dantherm Group in Europe and has received excellent ratings from “Swiss Testing”.

Maintenance-friendly design

The cover can be easily removed, simplifying service and cleaning without having to remove the unit from the wall.

Easy wall mounting

Wall installation is straightforward: A mounting rail is attached with two screws, and the unit is hung on it. Mounting hardware and a 2 m long hose are included. Vibration-damping rubber pads prevent vibrations from being transmitted to the wall. We recommend draining the condensate directly into a drain via the hose. Alternatively, a sufficiently large bucket (at least 8 liters) can be used to prevent overflow. Suitable trolleys are available for floor-standing installation.

Optional assembly service

Upon request, we will professionally install the device within 120 km for CHF 210. For longer distances, the price is available upon request.
