The WT 250D – Efficient and Versatile

The WT 250D is ideal not only for intensive drying tasks in single-family homes, but also for use in drying rooms shared by multiple tenants. With a drying capacity of approximately 3 kg of laundry per hour, this model takes approximately 2.5 hours to dry the amount of laundry a washing machine can handle in one cycle.

Operation:

The user-friendly digital control panel on the front of the unit allows for easy operation. The display shows all relevant information about the room status and the selected program. The display is available in German, French, Italian, and English.

Drying programs:

With the touch of a button, you can start the drying program. The dehumidifier runs until the laundry is completely dry and then shuts off automatically. Three preprogrammed drying levels—partially dry, iron dry, or cupboard dry—can be selected as needed. All program moisture levels can be adjusted to your preferences.

The dryer also features a room monitoring function that helps prevent mold growth and unpleasant odors in the basement. As soon as the room humidity exceeds 60% relative humidity, the dryer automatically turns on. This humidity level can also be customized. Unlike the laundry drying programs, the dryer does not shut down completely in this mode, but pauses when the humidity reaches the desired level. If the humidity rises again, the dryer resumes drying.

For both programs, the current and target humidity can be seen on the display.

Blower and fan speeds:

The WT 250D is equipped with an electronically operated, energy-efficient radial fan. The drying air stream is directed downward, ensuring that the air reaches the lower part of the laundry, where it is most moist. This airflow is especially useful if you place a clothes rack in front of the appliance.

The fan speed can be adjusted: Even the lower setting provides considerable airflow, but significantly reduces operating noise. For a fully loaded clothesline, we recommend using the higher fan speed to direct the drying air more efficiently through the laundry, resulting in faster and more even drying results. At the highest setting, the air stream can reach up to 9 meters.

Adjustable air slats:

Flexible slats at the air outlet allow the air flow to be adjusted both laterally and vertically to optimally match the length and width of the clothesline.

Direct hose connection:

The water drawn from the laundry flows through a hose that, on WT units, runs slightly below the center of the rear panel. This positioning is advantageous when the slope to the drain is not particularly steep or when the unit needs to be installed somewhat lower. The unit does not have a built-in pump, so the hose must maintain a constant slope to the drain. If there is no drain, the water can also be collected in a bucket. We also carry suitable inlet pipes and buckets in our range.

Air filter:

The humid room air is drawn in through the top front of the device. A magnetically attached filter removes coarse dust and lint, keeping the interior of the device clean. The filter, made of fine, tightly woven nylon, is easy to clean and, with proper care, has a long service life.

Memory function:

In room monitoring mode, the device saves the settings. In the event of a power outage, the WT 250D resumes operation with the same settings. The dryer is therefore also suitable for operation with a timer, for example, for off-peak operation. However, if a power outage occurs during laundry drying mode, the device goes into standby mode and must be restarted.

Room temperature:

The WT 250D can be operated in a temperature range of 8°C to 32°C. However, please note that drying times can be significantly longer at lower temperatures. For the fastest drying, we recommend a room temperature of at least 15°C. The stated drying performance was measured at a room temperature of 20°C and a humidity of 60%.

Made in Europe:

The WT 250D is manufactured by the Dantherm Group in Europe and has received excellent ratings from the Swiss testing institute for tumble dryers, "Swiss Testing."

Service-friendly device construction:

The device's cover can be removed in just a few steps, making servicing and cleaning much easier without having to remove the device from the wall.

Mounting on the wall:

Mounting the device is very simple: A mounting rail is anchored to the wall with two screws, and the device can then be easily hung. All necessary mounting materials, including screws, anchors, and a 2-meter-long hose, are included. To minimize vibrations, the support rail and the buffers at the bottom of the device are rubber-insulated.
