The Aerial WT 280 – The powerful dryer for demanding applications

The WT 280 is one of the most powerful models among the new Aerial WT dryers. Designed for intensive use, it offers fast and reliable drying results – ideal for demanding applications with ease of use. With a drying capacity of approximately 3.6 kg of laundry per hour, this model takes about two hours to dry a washing machine's worth of laundry.

User-friendly operation:

Thanks to the intuitive digital controls on the front panel, the WT 280 is effortless to operate. The display constantly shows you the current room status and the selected program. The display languages ​​include German, French, Italian, and English.

Drying programs:

A simple press of a button starts the drying program. The dehumidifier runs until the laundry is dry, then shuts off automatically. Three pre-programmed drying levels—partially dry, iron dry, or cupboard dry—can be selected as needed. All humidity levels can be individually adjusted to your preferences.

The WT 280 also features a room monitoring function that prevents mold growth and unpleasant odors in the basement. If the room humidity rises above the critical level of 60% relative humidity, the device automatically switches on. This threshold can also be adjusted as desired. Unlike the laundry drying programs, the dryer does not shut down completely in this mode, but only pauses as long as the humidity remains within the desired range. As soon as the humidity rises again, the device resumes drying.

For both programs, both the current and target humidity are visible on the display.

Blower and fan speeds:

The WT 280 is equipped with an electronically operated, energy-efficient radial fan. The airflow is directed slightly downward, blowing air directly into the lower part of the laundry—where the laundry is wettest. This airflow is especially useful when a clothes rack is placed in front of the appliance.

Selectable fan speeds:

The WT 280 offers a powerful fan setting that enables fast drying results, even with large loads of laundry and long drying spaces of up to 10 meters. The powerful fan setting ensures even and efficient drying.

Adjustable air slats:

Flexible slats at the air outlet can be adjusted both laterally and in height to precisely match the air flow to the length and width of the clothesline.

Direct hose connection:

The water extracted from the laundry flows through a hose that, on WT models, runs slightly below the center of the back panel. This position is advantageous when the slope to the drain is not particularly steep or when the appliance is to be mounted lower. The appliance does not have a pump, so the hose must have a steady slope to the drain. If there is no drain, the water can alternatively be collected in a bucket placed underneath the appliance. Suitable inlet pipes and buckets are also available in our range.

Air filter:

The humid room air is drawn in through the top of the dryer. A magnetic filter with a frame cleans the air of coarse dust and lint, ensuring the interior of the dryer remains clean. The filter consists of a fine, tightly woven nylon mesh that offers high cleaning power, is easy to clean, and, with proper care, will typically last the entire life of the dryer.

Memory function:

The settings in room monitoring mode are saved. In the event of a power outage, the WT 280 continues operation with the same settings. It is therefore also suitable for operation with a timer if you only want to use the dryer during off-peak hours. If the power is interrupted while drying, the device switches to standby mode and must be restarted.

Room temperature:

The WT 280 can be operated at an ambient temperature of 8°C to 32°C. Please note that drying times are significantly longer at lower temperatures. For optimal drying speed, we recommend a room temperature of at least 15°C. The stated drying performance was measured at a room temperature of 20°C and a humidity of 60%.

Made in Europe:

The Aerial WT dryers are manufactured by the Dantherm Group in Europe and have received excellent ratings from the Swiss testing agency "Swiss Testing".

Service-friendly device construction:

The device's cover can be removed in just a few steps, making cleaning and maintenance much easier without having to remove the device from the wall.

Mounting on the wall:

Installing the device is straightforward: With just two screws, a mounting rail is anchored to the wall, and the device can then be easily hung. All necessary mounting materials, including screws, anchors, and a 2-meter-long hose, are included. Both the support rail and the two lower buffers of the device are rubber-insulated to minimize vibrations on the wall. Due to the high dehumidification performance, we recommend draining the condensate directly into the drain via the hose (hose included). If you want to use a bucket, make sure it has a capacity of at least 8 liters to prevent overflow during the drying process. If wall mounting is not possible, we offer suitable trolleys for the dryer.

Upon request, we can also professionally install the dryer at your home within a 120 km radius for CHF 280. Further distances are available upon request.

• Sanitary and electrical installations (drain and 230V socket) are not carried out by us and must be commissioned separately by a specialist.
• If your wall has interior insulation, please let us know when ordering, as installation on insulated walls is more complex. Additional costs for installation on insulated walls will be calculated based on the effort involved.
