Perfect dehumidifier for larger rooms. Also suitable for cooler areas such as garages, unheated basements, and storage rooms down to just below freezing. Can be placed on a shelf, for example; optional wall bracket available. Direct hose connection, no bucket required.
The FDK top-loading dehumidifier is ideal for medium-sized rooms and rooms with high humidity. It provides reliable dehumidification in both cooler and temperate rooms.
Operation is incredibly simple: just turn a dial to set the desired humidity level, and you're done. The device takes care of everything else automatically. The FDK's dehumidifying power is ideal for year-round drying of single or double garages, archives, basements, or for stabilizing humidity in laundry and drying rooms. This model is exclusively available from us; comparable products on the market cost twice as much.
Thanks to its sophisticated hot gas defrosting system, the dehumidifier can operate down to near freezing. Its excellent performance in very low humidity levels is also remarkable, where it continues to extract moisture from the air in conditions where other dehumidifiers have long since ceased to produce any. Once the desired humidity level is reached, the unit switches off completely and restarts automatically when the room humidity rises.
Humid air is drawn in on one side of the unit and cleaned by an industrial, reusable filter. Dry air is blown into the room on the opposite side, creating effective air circulation. Many locations are possible for placement within the room: near the floor, on a free shelf, or wall-mounted using brackets. When wall-mounted, the dehumidifier can even be installed directly under the ceiling.
The condensate is drained directly via the hose connection. The FDK44 stands on four (removable) rubber feet and has two foldable carrying handles on top of the housing for easier mobility. When positioned near the floor, the hose must have a continuous downward slope towards the drain to ensure proper drainage and prevent water from backing up into the collection tray.
The construction is solid and high-quality. The housing is made of white powder-coated metal, and the internal components are from the professional league. The unit is therefore perfectly suited for unattended continuous operation. Even in the event of a power outage, it resumes dehumidification with the same settings, making it suitable for use with a timer or a smart home system.

Thanks to its sophisticated hot gas defrosting system, the dryer can be used across a wide temperature range from +1°C to +35°C, although, as with all condensation dryers, dehumidification performance decreases in cooler environments.
